Italian Culinary Tour

8 Days / 7 Nights ALL INCLUSIVE (Airfare not included)

 

Day 1: Sunday

Departure from USA. Upon arrival at the Malpensa International Airport, you will transfer to Cortemilia by private bus to Villa San Carlo (note: it will be Sunday when you arrive in Italy).

7 nights in Villa San Carlo. Accommodation in double room Deluxe.

Free time in town of Cortemilia

 

Welcome drink in our cellar. 5 courses, including 4 paired wines, water and coffee.

 

Day 2: Monday

Breakfast Buffet, Wine class with Chef Carlo Zarri. Clients will drive through the wild hills of Alta Langa and stop in Bergola, the stone village before visiting Prunetto and view the wonderful scenery from the Castle. During Truffle Season clients will experience and watch a demonstration with local Trifulao (hunter)

4 course traditional dinner

Day 3: Tuesday

Breakfast buffet; Clients will attend a cooking class with the chef, and taste results in kitchen. After lunch, take a half-day tour to Acqui Terme by a private bus along the cheese road. Group will visit a local cheese factory along the way, then continue on to Acqui Terme with time for walking through town centre, and visiting famous Bollente or having a bath in the thermal spa. Return to hotel for dinner.

Day 4: Wednesday

Breakfast buffet; full day private bus tour to Ligurian Coast; clients will visit an olive oil factory in Albenga in the morning and taste Ligurian products; Next visit; town of Alassio for free time and lunch on the Mediterranean coast. Return to hotel for 3-course dinner and 2 wine pairings.

Day 5: Thursday

Breakfast buffet; Cooking class no.2: prepare a full meal with chef and taste results directly in kitchen; by private bus through Hazelnut Trail, visit a famous wine cellar of Barolo with wine tasting; The group will also visit the Castele of Grinzane Cavour. Time permitting, visit the Belvedere of La Morra and Torrone factory. Traditional 3-course dinner, including 2 paired wines, water and coffee.

Day 6: Friday

Breakfast buffet; Full-day tour to Torino by private bus and local guide. Clients will meet the local guide and have a walk throughout the historical arcades of the Olympic host city and first capital of Italy. The day will include a visit to the famous Mole and free time to visit Eataly, the Castle or the Egyptian museum or simply enjoy a coffee in piazza San Carlo Square; Local tour guide - Ingressi; Traditional dinner: 4 courses (including 2 paired wines, water & coffee).

Day 7: Saturday

Breakfast buffet, by private bus. Clients will spend the morning in Alba enjoying the Medieval Market and Truffles Fair. Afterward the group will visit a famous wine cellar (Barbaresco) with little "Merenda Sinorira" the classical Farmer's Lunch.

Gala 6 course dinner including 4 paired wines.

Day 8: Sunday

Breakfast buffet; Transfer to Malpensa airport.
